What changed in FSSC 22000 Version 7?

FSSC 22000 Version 7, published in May 2026, introduces several significant changes: the updated ISO 22002-x:2025 Prerequisite Program series replaces the previous ISO/TS 22002-x references; the scheme aligns with GFSI Benchmarking Requirements 2024; the food chain scope categories have been restructured with a new subcategory framework; and the Additional Requirements have been strengthened across food safety culture, allergen management, food defense, food fraud, traceability, and equipment management.
